Imagine stepping on the tube in London (or the metro/subway in any big city!) but instead of going from North to South London and from East to West London… you could go from North to South of the world and from East to West too.
You could start your morning watching the sunrise over The Ganges in India in the special city of Varanasi. Watch the people around you getting ready for their day. Those that are bathing and washing their clothes in the holy water.
Ready for breakfast? Take the tube three stops to Seoul, South Korea and order a selection of warm dishes to fill you up for your day! Walk off your big meal by taking a quick walk around and noticing the difference between old and new…
Now for a bit more exploring. You’ll need to take the tube 10 stops to Rome, Italy. Wander the streets and see what you find! Look out for The Colosseum and The Trevi Fountain.
You need to feel some fresh air in your lungs? A bit of nature? OK! How about some sand dunes on the border of California and Arizona? Yes! Ok, then take the tube 5 stops and you will arrive to see these beauties… Don’t forget your sunglasses!
Travel 4 stops south to Isla del Sol, Bolivia to enjoy lunch of trout, chips and salad with a squeeze of lemon. Stretch your legs by strolling around the island, admire the beautiful views. Be careful to walk slowly as the altitude will have you out of breath in no time!
Ok, time to cool down! Head 12 stops to the Blue Lagoon in Iceland. Rest your tired feet in the lagoon and take in the spectacular views around you. Don’t stay too long – you’ll get wrinkly!
It’s tea time! And where better to enjoy a cup of tea and a scone than the picturesque city of Stratford Upon Avon in England. Take the tube 4 stops and visit the home of Shakespeare too!
Hop another 9 stops to Santiago, Chile and find the sun setting over the mountains that surround the city.
