I’ve known about Torres del Paine for a long time. I’d heard about it’s beautiful mountains, blue water, still lakes and stunning glaciers. I knew about it’s special location: the southern tip of the world. I’d seen hundreds of photos splashed across social media, blogs and travel websites. I knew I was going somewhere special but I didn’t realise just quite how beautiful, impressive and unforgettable it would be until we set foot in the park and I can safely say, that I just can’t quite imagine how I will ever see landscape this beautiful again.
I have toyed with how to share this beautiful place on my blog, and I decided to just let the photos show you the beauty of it all as they do that just perfectly. I’ve chosen my favourite fifteen photos that capture the beauty of the park to share with you.
~~
Torres del Paine is a national park in Southern Patagonia, Chile. And this is how beautiful it is…
Next week I’ll be showing you the amazing and varied wildlife that we spotted in the park 🙂
Which landscapes will stay in your mind forever?

Breathtaking. Thanks so much for sharing.
So glad you enjoyed the photos. It’s a joy to share the Patagonia region with you all 🙂
I have been thinking about it since the Lonely Planet TV episode from more than a decade ago.
That sounds amazing, maybe I can find it somewhere online!
I have tried… without luck.
Thanks for letting me know’
Please don’t let that keep you from trying. You might be more resourceful than I.
It looks like a fairy tale 🙂 I would never want to leave!
I really didn’t want it to, I couldn’t stop staring 🙂
Every time I see beautiful pictures of Torres del Paine, like yours, I just want to go! I was in El Chalten last summer and I would love to visit Torres in the Fall… any tips?
How lovely – El Chalten is beautiful! My tip would be to prepare for all weather as we really lucked out with those pure blue skies, you never know what is around the corner. I can imagine the Autumn colours would be stunning actually 🙂
Absolutely stunning! Pictures tell a thousand words and when something is so beautiful as this, words can sometimes fail! #WanderfulWednesday
Don’t they just! I could never explain the beauty in words 🙂 It was all just too much to take in!
what to say really? stunning nature and great photography skills:)
Thanks Tanja! Nature did all of the work 😉
Um that water?!? Looks unreal. It reminds me of the lakes I saw in New Zealand.
Isn’t it stunning! And yes, I thought of NZ when I was there, hehe. I’ve never been but all of the photos I’ve seen just looked so similar!
Looks amazing….mother nature at it’s best. X
#WanderfulWednesday
Indeed it was! What a show 😀
Those snow-capped mountains so beautiful! They look so “rugged”! Can’t wait to see pictures of all the animals!
They were just so beautiful. I hope you like my new post too!
I agree, sometimes photos say it best! And “magnificent” definitely seems to be the right word to describe this landscape. I’d love to visit one day!
Hope you get to, it’s one to remember!
This place is sooo breathtakingly pretty. I love how the snowy mountains look. And I also spot a bit of turquoise lake! Was it super cold there? I can’t wait to see the wildlife photos…. those are always my favorite part of a nature trip!
It was cold but no colder than a cold winter’s day in England, ha! Buuuut when the wind hit, it hit! It was all about wearing the right layers 😉
Seriously, those pictures just speak for themselves! It’s just so beautiful! I’m so glad that you finally got a trip there, and I hope that you get to go back again soon!
Thanks Ashley! It’s a really long way from Santiago (3hr flight, 3hr bus then 3hr transfer car…), but maybe I’ll go back again one day! 🙂
That is so gorgeous! I’d never heard of Torres del Paine before, but I’ll be pinning this to remind me. You must be freezing though! #WonderfulWedesnday
Definitely! It’s a spectacular location!! 😀
Gosh what incredible scenery! These mountains are spectacular – and that’s only seeing the photos. I bet they were even more incredible seeing them in person. Chile really does look quite amazing, I want to go skiing there in winter one season. #wanderfulwednesday
Indeed – I just couldn’t fit all of the beauty into my lens, it was unstoppable!
Oh, these photos are incredible! I want to see more photos of your trip. For me, the landscapes of Yosemite and the Valleys of Oaxaca are unforgettable. #WanderfulWednesday
Thanks so much Ruth! It’s so fun to share the most beautiful places 🙂
Always loving your travels around Chile. This is seriously amazing!
Thanks Isabel! Chile always knows how to put on a show!
Absolutely, utterly breathtaking!! Those mountains just sing to the soul.
Oh, they did! They made me oh so happy 😀
Absolutely gorgeous!! Can I please, please go now!?! Even from pictures it’s breathtaking; I can only imagine the beauty in person!
The beauty in person was almost too much, I couldn’t take it! hehe.
Every single one of these photos belong in a magazine. So beautiful! Brings me right back! So weird, while I was reading this post, my friend walked in with a snack that always makes me think of the W (because I brought one for everyday) and it was like a whole sensory throw back haha
You’re too kind, I was blowwwwwwn away by the beauty – it was just insane!
This is so incredibly beautiful! And your photography is crisp! I hope I make it there one day 🙂
Thanks so much Camila! I am sure you will 😀
Wow, I bet it was hard to narrow down! Just beautiful 🙂
Indeed it was, I came back with a few hundred snaps, of course!!
OMG this is one of the most stunning mountain range I’ve ever laid my eyes on!
Nano, it was amazingggg! I just can’t put it all into words!
Wow! I plan to go there next month. Can’t wait. I hope I can take such stunning pictures!
Yay, you’ll love it! It’s so so beautiful.
These photos are absolutely incredible. As an artist and nature lover, Patagonia seems to tick all my boxes. Travelling here in July and I can’t wait!
Thanks so much!! You are going to have such a great time! It’s truly wonderful.
