Today has been a hard day. Never did a day come that I thought I would write anything political on this happy blog of mine.
Today was a day where I have felt physically sick, sad, ashamed, bewildered and above all, anger at my country, the UK. A day, where despite living many thousand of miles away, I’ve felt like I have been there, mixed with all the emotions.
Sometimes words fail you. So rather than continue with the negative feelings. I wanted to share a post of flowers. Flowers to offer some peace at this time of uncertainty because flowers always offer colour in our world.
And to tell you, Europe, we love you.
Marcella xx
I hear you.
Amen!
Hi marcella. It is a sad time for our relations with our loved European counterparts. I just hope that they do not suffer due to the choice made by the uk public. As you know I am a huge fan of Europe and community and am sad to see us go…
Very very sad. And everything seems to be getting worse!
Give it time… It can only get better
yes, it was a sad decision that would affect the UK bad. and Europe 😦
Yep, something bad for all of us, it seems.
😦
I’m still in shock to be honest. I have a lot of thoughts, few of which make sense, but mostly an overwhelming feeling of sadness. What have we done?
I’m still in shock too. I keep hoping that it isn’t real… then remembering that everything seems to be falling apart.
I feel you.
But… I’m obsessed with the pictures you posted. Such beautiful flowers.
Thank you. Flowers are always a good way to spread some happiness 🙂
The Brexit vote was surprising. (Or at least for this American anyway.)
Love all of the flowers you shared. So pretty. 🙂
Yep, a sad time for so many of us 😦
Thanks – I’m glad you liked the flowers!
A sad day indeed, thanks for brightening it up a little 🙂
Hopefully the flowers spread a teeny bit of cheer!
Dear Marcella, I read your post on Friday and loved it. I feel exactly the same. Words fail me.
I’m just beyond any words and everything seems to getting worse. Feeling pretty helpless!
I was completely shocked, so I hear you. But these are gorgeous flowers!
Shocked beyond belief, just hoping that things start to look better.
Glad you enjoyed the flowers 🙂
The shock is real… still. Beautiful pictures and emotion.
Yup 😦 I can’t get over it, especially as the news seems to getting worse and worse with each and everyday. Heartbroken doesn’t even explain the emotion.
It was a shocking day in Scotland – everyone was just so quiet and sad
Too sad. I’m still very far from getting over it.
Great post I love the flowers makes me happy even when skies are gray. I know this post is a little old but I was just looking around check out my blog when you get a chance and keep on writing. Much love.
