Street Art of The World

I don’t remember when I fell in love with street art, but it happened and I adore it! 

Street art adds so much character and colour to a place, especially when there are several walls covered with it.  I love seeing the different styles and the theme of the art, and how it varies from city to city.  Street art is definitely enough to make you fall head over heels for a new city.  Here, are some of my very favourites.

Valparaíso, Chile.

Where better to start that the city that really is home to street art!  I love this house totally decorated, and in my favourite colour too!Cartagena de Indias, Colombia

I spotted this huge and beautiful piece on the first day of our honeymoon, it was a sign of good things to come in the wonderful city of Cartagena!Shoreditch, London, UK

Shoreditch has so much street art, and so many different styles too.  I love the textures in this one and those telling eyes too.Valle de Elqui, Chile

Such a bright and colourful one in the middle of Valle de Elqui.Marseille, France

The shutters of this cafe were covered in a huge mural with lots of Latin flavour!  I’d love to see the real Cuba one day.Berlin, Germany

This is such a famous one that can be found all over Instagram.  The size of it is crazy, and what is not to love about an entire building that’s been painted?Valle de Elqui, Chile

One that could never fail to make you smile!  Especially on the sunniest of Autumn days!  This girl radiates joy!Berlin, Germany

So gutted that this veggie place was shut when we went past, as if the food is anything like the outside, it must be great!  I loved the wrinkle lines on the face.San Francisco, USA

I haven’t been (yet!)  but my mum captured this amazing one of peacock feathers.Brockley, London, UK

This had been freshly painted as when I saw it there was still wet paint on the floor.  And what an amazing and vibrant piece it is!Valparaíso, Chile

I love this one because it combines both paint and mirror mosaics.  I love those that use mixed media!Where’s the best street art you’ve seen?
