Winter is coming! We get some snowy days in the UK but not many and the snow doesn’t, usually, hang around for very long.
In February 2010 I went on a five day trip in Europe; a five day and three country trip that we booked eight days before jetting off and we used the trains to travel between the cities we visited; Bratislava, Vienna and Budapest. It really was a winter wonderland as the temperatures stayed below zero and snow surrounded us everywhere.
Vienna was a snow coated, beautiful city. There is something really magical about the brightness that snow brings with it.
Where have you seen a beautiful winter?

Oh my gosh, I loved Vienna!! I have only been in the summer, but it is gorgeous in the winter! I am feeling a winter trip there soon!
I blogged about my time in Vienna here: http://classiccosmopolite.wordpress.com/category/vienna/
Wow, I looked at your photos, and it sure does look different in the summer! Such a charming city 🙂

These photos make me a percentage excited for winter. I experienced a horrendous winter last year, but I’m hoping this year will be more enjoyable!
I’m definitely not a winter person! I dread the day it arrives… apart from snow because it beings so much light to the short days! I know that you get VERY cold days in Korea?!
Great snow photos. I think Europe in general is just amazing and magical in winter with the snow, lights and Christmas markets!

Oooh, yes! Christmas markets are just so lovely and magical. Thanks Claire 🙂
