Picnic in Paris

How do you feel when the sun comes out? I feel like cooking and having a picnic in a park! For my Birthday, I went to Paris where the sun was out everyday, therefore I had a picnic everyday! With a friend, we went to a bookstore and looked for summer picnic recipes and we revisited a falafel boulette recipe at our taste! We also made marinated peppers that went perfectly with haloumi cheese and our boulette on a stick! I had some good surprises too in trying people’s food: homemade mayonnaise, veggie tartes…

They’ve recently opened a Marks and Spencer shop in Paris, next to the Trocadero! And I went crazy when I found out they really have delish’ Carrot Cake,Banoffee Cake, Lemon Curd, Hummous, Smoked Salmon and so on….I even had a shortbread that tasted exactly the same as when I used to work at M&S bakery in Birmingham!

Here are some snaps of my Picnic Marathon in Paris, in parks, gardens, on the street or at my friend’s…

The sun is a good reason to go out, and treat ourselves! Enjoy!

Watch out for the coming recipe of those succulent falafel boulette! Do you have any other ideas for picnic food?
